This prestigious medal was presented to him by Member of Parliament, Dane Lloyd, honoring Jason’s outstanding work with University of Alberta Research + Innovation, Canadian Blood Services, and PanTHERA CryoSolutions Inc.

The King Charles III Coronation Medal commemorates the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III as King of Canada and is awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to Canada or achievements that bring credit to the country. With only 30,000 medals being awarded, this recognition highlights Jason’s dedication to advancing transfusion medicine and improving global healthcare.
