A Continuing Medical Education (CME) program titled “Quality Systems: A Pillar of Safe and Effective Transfusion Services” was conducted on April 25, 2025. The program was designed for Transfusion Medicine professionals, quality managers, and laboratory technologists from various hospitals across North India, aiming to strengthen their understanding of the Quality Management System (QMS) in transfusion services. The theme was chosen considering the significance of maintaining quality in transfusion services. Delivering high-quality transfusion services builds trust among patients, healthcare providers, and stakeholders in the reliability of the blood supply, making such educational programs essential for safe and effective of transfusion practices.

We express our sincere gratitude to the ISBT Academy and ISBT Central Office for their generous financial support for organizing this event.
